Coelophysis bauri Bust Study

Felt the need to quickly throw this guy together in just under 3 hours, used a few birds such as ratites and a few song birds as well as alligators for reference. Funnily enough, I often see reconstructions with large labial scales or just a scaly snout, but I’ve noticed that Crocodilians, Pterosaurs and extant Aves lack scales (although to be fair, Aves is pretty derived), rather having some form of keratinized skin. These early Dinosaurs, done right, just look like an amalgamation of all sorts of Archosaurs.
